Touriñán joins Yolanda Castaño in hosting the show; she had already presented the Gala in 2023.
The event is conceived as a hybrid space between performance and collective reflection, featuring a diverse participation of people representative of the city, in order to understand the threads that weave A Coruña’s connections with the world of the 21st century. Thus, the activity will include both in-person and virtual contributions from specialists in global cities, the Galician diaspora, internationalization, solidarity, sports, and industry… There will be major surprises!

These activities follow the path opened by the institutional Declaration “A Coruña global in the world of the 21st Century” (2019) to strengthen the city’s international image and external action.
After the 1st edition of A Coruña Global, with the online Colloquium Series in 2020 and the 2nd-edition Conferences at the University of A Coruña in 2022, the 2025 programme continues the Gala format launched in 2023 for the 3rd edition of A Coruña Global.
