As a result of the work of the IGADI Research Council, for the original understanding of the EU as a Glocal international organization, a plural group was formed around the IGADI Research Lines in European Union (Serafín Pazos and Paula Lamoso), Economy (Diego Sande) and International Cooperation and Agenda 2030 (Tamara Espiñeira and Raquel Isamara León de la Rosa). The Coordinators of the group will be Daniel González Palau (Director of IGADI) and Patricia Coloret (Responsible for CSR of IGADI), who will also be the presenter of the program on IGADI TV (IGADI’s YouTube channel).
“The European Union from a Glocal perspective” will be divided into five episodes, with the main experts invited by members of the IGADI Research Group, which, as in a TV program, will have very special surprise guests. All episodes will be at 8pm.
Tuesday, October 1, with Serafín Pazos “What is the EU doing in the European regions?”
Thursday, October 3, with Diego Sande “What are the European Funds? How do they get to Galicia and the European regions?”
Tuesday, October 8, with Paula Lamoso “The External Action of the European Union as a global agent: weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities”
Thursday, October 10, with Raquel Isamara León de la Rosa “The European Union, America and China in the 21st century”
Tuesday, October 15, with Tamara Espiñeira “The European Union and Human Rights”.

Thanks to the Call for communication actions and outreach activities 2024 of the Secretariat of State of the European Union (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain), the project promotes a Cycle of Conferences in the form of an online TV program. A final publication will be produced that will be translated from Galician into Spanish and English.
