After the institutional opening, there will be an online address by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Spain, Yao Ming. This will be followed by two thematic sessions with experts on international relations between the European Union, China, Ibero-America, and Galicia.
The second edition of “Ferrol in the 21st Century” was conceived as part of the agreement signed in December 2022 between the University of A Coruña and IGADI to support the internationalization of UDC, specifically the Asian internationalization of the Ferrol Industrial Campus (CIF) and its Bachelor’s degree in International Relations.
The conference follows the course produced by IGADI at CIF in September and October, titled “China in the 21st Century: Culture, Society, and International Politics,” in which 45 people participated over three weeks.
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Humanities’ Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact info@igadi.gal or call 600309066.
