IGADI launches the new website of the Observatory of Chinese Politics (OPCh)

The Observatory of Chinese Politics (OPCh), created in 2004 by IGADI with the support of Casa Asia, is today an international reference point for understanding Chinese affairs in the Spanish language.

The new website marks a step forward, offering a modern and multidimensional structure that facilitates access to updated content on Chinese politics. The portal includes key sections such as -What is the Observatory? or RIBSI (Ibero-American Network of Sinology), and organizes its research and documentation work into thematic areas (political thought, economy, international relations, Taiwan, and special administrative regions).

The OPCh regularly publishes annual reports, the Jiexi Zhongguo journal, the Taiwan Weekly, and specific chronologies, while also promoting events such as the Electronic Symposium on Chinese Politics or the Chibérica Conferences. OPCh analysts are regularly featured in media outlets around the world.

Founded by Xulio Ríos, Honorary President of IGADI, the Observatory has been directed since 2022 by Raquel Isamara León de la Rosa, professor at the Benemérita Autonomous University of Puebla (Mexico).
