At the General Assembly, in addition to the 2025 Annual Accounts, the document “Guidelines 2026–2031. From Galicia, thinking and acting in the world” was approved. This document will guide IGADI’s work over the next five years, leading up to the organization’s 40th anniversary. Strengthening public value and IGADI’s Galician and international impact are key pillars of the new proposal, unanimously approved by the General Assembly.
For his part, Daniel González Palau, President and Director of IGADI from 2017, thanked the IGADI Associated Researchers Network, as well as the organizations and individuals collaborating with the institution, for their support during his tenure. He also highlighted his gratitude to Christoph Schreinmoser and the Board of Directors for ensuring continuity in IGADI’s historic work.
The Galician Institute for International Analysis and Documentation (IGADI) is Galicia’s leading think tank in international analysis, external action, and strategic studies, with a trajectory spanning more than thirty-four years. IGADI works on the analysis, documentation, and promotion of Galicia’s international projection, supporting public institutions, companies, and citizens in understanding major global debates and positioning Galicia in the international context. IGADI is part of the advisory bodies of the Xunta de Galicia, the Galician Council for External Action, and the Paz Andrade Observatory of Lusophony.
