On Tuesday, March 21, the External Action Council of Galicia (CAEX) was held in Santiago de Compostela, of which IGADI has been a member since 2009, the year of its creation, as a representative of international study associations.
The CAEX meeting proceeded normally, with a first speech by the director general of External Relations and with the European Union, Jesús Gamallo, and the presentation of the document Estrategia de Acción Exterior de Galicia 23-27 by the subdirector of Planning, José Manuel Blanco. Later there was a round of interventions by the entities present, such as the Confederation of Businessmen of Galicia, the representative of the majority trade unions, the Coordinator of ONGD of Galicia, the Consell de Cultura de Galicia or the IGADI. The Eixo Atlántico or the Interuniversity System of Galicia, among others, excused their attendance. The text was approved unanimously.
