Nós no Mundo 2026 — Acción exterior de Galicia  nun sistema internacional inestable

We join the celebration of Galician Letters Day with the report We in the World 25-26: Galicia’s External Action in an Unstable International System.

Coinciding with the celebrations of Galician Letters Day, IGADI presents the 2025–2026 edition of its annual report We in the World, a publication that since 2010 has analysed the evolution of Galicia’s public policies on external action.

In a global context of uncertainty, marked by geopolitical fragmentation and growing competition among major powers, the report reflects on the current state and future of Galicia’s external action. For this purpose, in this 17th edition, we invited the participation of entities represented in the Galician Council of External Action and the Paz Andrade Observatory of Lusophony, advisory bodies of the Xunta de Galicia established under Law 10/2021, of 9 March, on External Action and Development Cooperation of Galicia.

Thus, in the Nós No Mundo 25-26 report, institutions such as the Confederation of Employers of Galicia, the Royal Galician Academy, the Universities of A Coruña and Vigo, as well as organisations such as Ponte nas Ondas, AGAL, or Teachers of Portuguese in Galicia, with observer status in UNESCO and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), take part.

The volume also includes contributions from IGADI associate researchers and two strategic reflections signed by IGADI director Christoph Schreinmoser and founding president and honorary president Xulio Ríos.

IGADI especially thanks all participating individuals and institutions for their collaboration, as well as the ongoing support of the General Secretariat for Language over these 17 years.
