The Identity of Taiwan— A Sovereign country or Part of Some Country

The heat of the gender of two boxers in female boxing match is one of the biggest controversies of the Paris Olympic Games 2024 which has sparked widespread debate around the world never stop till Olympic Games ended.  Although, International Olympic Committee (IOC) officials declared the gender of those two female boxers is not controversies because the passports along with other official national documentation and medical clearances to distinguish men and women division already be checked before the match.  It still cannot successfully stop heavily criticize by International Boxing Association (IBA), celebrities and others.  But the fact cannot be defeat, the competition was continual carried on with the certainty. This incident also reflects to the identity of Taiwan as a sovereign state country.  The fact will again approve and the justice will recurrently serve, no matter how huge and powerful of country whom incessantly irritate to mislead the world regarding to identity of Taiwan.

Thinking about intermediate and small cities with a global scope from A Coruña

Inspired by Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) and Goal 17 (Partnerships to achieve the goals) of the 2030 Agenda, this note reflects on how Intermediate and small cities have their own characteristics and capacities to fulfill a global role in a global context in which cities assume a relevant role in the various global agendas (climate change, development, among others).

To reflect on this, here we highlight how networking and collaboration between economic and cultural agents contribute to the external projection and territorial appeal of a city like A Coruña.
